TPBAT Battery Protection Box (IP65 Metal Enclosure)

DC-side protection for battery energy storage systems — DC 250–1500 V, 63–800 A, in 1–9 string configurations, with a metal IP65 enclosure rated for −35 °C to +70 °C.

The TYPLE TPBAT is a metal-enclosure battery protection box for DC-side protection of battery energy storage systems (BESS), housing a busbar with DC circuit breakers between the battery bank and the inverter or power conversion system (PCS). Manufactured by TYPLE, the TPBAT range covers DC 250 V, 500 V, 1000 V, and 1500 V at rated currents from 63 A to 800 A, in configurations from 1 to 9 inputs and outputs, all in an IP65 metal enclosure rated for −35 °C to +70 °C outdoor service. Internal protection uses DC MCBs and DC MCCBs on a common busbar, engineered to align with IEC 61439 for the assembly and IEC 60947-2 for the circuit breakers; component-level certificates are available through TYPLE’s qualified supply-chain partners.
