Product Overview

The TPX7-P 1-in-1-out PV combiner box protects a single PV string and combines it into one DC output, rated for both DC500V and DC600V systems in a compact IP65 PC+ABS enclosure. It integrates a string DC fuse, a DC MCB on the output, and a Type 2 DC surge protective device (SPD) in one wall-mounted unit measuring 210 × 215 × 100 mm. The dual DC500V / DC600V rating lets a single box cover both voltage classes, simplifying sourcing and stock for installers running small single-string arrays. With MC4 or cable-gland entry and a –25°C to +60°C operating range, it suits compact rooftop and off-grid single-string installations across the high-temperature, high-dust conditions common in the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia. TYPLE manufactures this combiner box at its Liushi, Wenzhou facility, with OEM customization available on fuse rating, output current, connectors, and enclosure branding.

What's Inside the TPX7-P 1/1

Inside the TPX7-P 1/1 enclosure:

  • 1 × DC fuse — string-level overcurrent protection (15–30 A, 10×38 mm gPV fuse)
  • 1 × DC MCB — disconnection and overcurrent protection on the output (32–63 A, Icu 6 kA)
  • 1 × DC SPD — Type 2 surge protection on the DC side (Imax 40 kA, Up 2.2 kV)
  • Output terminal — single combined DC output to the inverter

FAQs

Is the TPX7-P 1/1 rated for DC500V or DC600V?

Both. It is rated for DC500V and DC600V systems, so a single box covers either voltage class.

What protection devices are included?

A DC fuse (15–30 A), a DC MCB (32–63 A, Icu 6 kA), and a Type 2 DC surge protective device (Imax 40 kA, Up 2.2 kV).

What protection rating does the enclosure have?

The PC+ABS enclosure is rated IP65 (per IEC 60529) and IK10 for impact resistance, suitable for outdoor wall mounting.

Is the combiner box certified?

The TPX7-P 1/1 is engineered to align with IEC 61439; its protection components are designed to IEC 60947-2, IEC 61643-31, and IEC 60269-6, and built with components sourced from certified supply chain partners. Component certificates are available on request through TYPLE’s qualified partner suppliers.

Can the configuration be customized?

Yes. Fuse rating, output rating, SPD rating, connector type, and enclosure branding can be customized for OEM and project orders.
