TYPLE operates an integrated manufacturing-and-trade model. Wenzhou Typle New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2015 in Liushi, Yueqing (Wenzhou, Zhejiang, China) – one of the world’s largest low-voltage electrical manufacturing clusters. We manufacture and assemble PV combiner boxes in-house, and through our integrated supply chain of qualified partner factories we offer a complete range of low-voltage protection components, giving customers worldwide one-stop sourcing with controlled quality.
TYPLE manufactures DC and AC photovoltaic combiner boxes (TPX7-P plastic and TPX7-M metal series) and a full range of low-voltage protection components: MCBs, MCCBs, RCBOs, RCCBs, isolators, DC/AC SPDs, DC fuses, ATS, and industrial control parts. All products are designed to relevant IEC standards (IEC 60947-2, IEC 60898-1, IEC 61008-1, IEC 61009-1, IEC 61643).
Our products are used in residential rooftop solar, commercial & industrial (C&I) PV plants, and battery energy storage systems (BESS). Combiner boxes consolidate PV strings and provide DC-side protection; AC components handle final distribution and power distribution in buildings and industrial sites.
TYPLE supplies installers, distributors, EPCs, and OEM brands worldwide. Our products carry CE, CB, UKCA, and TÜV marks where applicable, supporting export to Europe, the UK, and other IEC-standard markets.
Yes. We support the full process – product selection, custom configuration, manufacturing, internal pre-wiring, and delivery – for PV and energy storage projects, so you can source the complete DC and AC protection package from a single supplier.
Products & Selection
Selection depends on five factors: number of PV strings, system DC voltage (e.g. 600 V, 1000 V, or 1500 V), maximum input current per string, required protection (fuse, breaker, SPD, isolator), and installation environment (indoor/outdoor, temperature). Send us your inverter model and string layout and we will recommend a matching configuration.
The TPX7-P uses a PC+ABS plastic enclosure for residential and small C&I rooftops, supporting 1-6 string inputs at DC 500/600/1000 V. The TPX7-M uses a cold-rolled steel cabinet for larger C&I systems, supporting 4-24 string inputs at 1000 V with output current up to 630 A. Both are rated IP65 / IK10.
Standard combiner boxes range from 1-in-1-out up to 24-in-1-out. The TPX7-P plastic series covers 1 to 6 strings; the TPX7-M metal series covers 4 to 24 strings in a single enclosure. Custom string counts and multi-output versions are available.
A typical DC combiner box integrates string fuses (10×38) or DC circuit breakers, a DC isolator switch, and a Type II DC surge protection device (SPD, In=20 kA, Imax=40 kA), plus input/output terminals and PE grounding. Components can be configured to your project’s voltage and current ratings.
Standard models are rated DC 500 V, 600 V, and 1000 V. DC circuit breakers and isolators in the TPB7 and TPM7 series support up to DC 1000 V, with 1500 V solutions available on request.
Yes. Combiner boxes are rated IP65 (dust-tight and protected against water jets) and IK10 (impact resistance), with UV-resistant, flame-retardant, corrosion-resistant enclosures. The TPX7-P operates from −25 °C to +60 °C and the metal TPX7-M from −35 °C to +70 °C.
An MCB protects against overload and short circuit (up to 63 A, IEC 60898-1). An MCCB handles higher currents up to 1600 A (IEC 60947-2). An RCCB detects earth-leakage/residual current only (IEC 61008-1). An RCBO combines residual-current and overcurrent protection in one device (IEC 61009-1).
Yes. For the DC side we offer DC MCBs (TPB7), DC MCCBs (TPM7, up to 20 kA), DC isolators, DC SPDs, and DC fuses. For the AC side we offer MCBs, MCCBs (TPM1, up to 1600 A), RCBOs, RCCBs, SPDs, ATS, and contactors.
Customization (OEM / ODM)
Yes. We provide OEM manufacturing with your brand name, logo printing, and custom labeling on combiner boxes and protection components, with no extra charge for branding on PV products.
Yes. We support full ODM development – you provide the application requirements or drawings, and we design the enclosure, internal layout, and component selection to match. This suits distributors and brands needing a differentiated product.
Yes. We can manufacture to your drawings, single-line diagrams, or technical specifications. Provide system voltage, string count, current ratings, required protection, enclosure material, and certification targets, and we will quote a matching build.
Yes. You can specify enclosure material (PC+ABS plastic or cold-rolled steel), size, IP rating, cable entry type (MC4 connectors or PG glands), and the internal fuse/breaker/SPD/isolator configuration based on your electrical parameters.
Yes. We offer logo printing or labeling on the product and customized packaging (cartons, manuals, market-specific labeling) for OEM and ODM orders.
Please provide: system type (PV / storage), DC/AC voltage, current per string and total output, number of strings, required protection devices, enclosure preference, target market/certification, and order quantity. Drawings are helpful but not required – we can design from requirements alone.
Certification & Quality
Depending on the model, TYPLE products carry CE, CB, UKCA, RoHS，and TÜV certifications, Certain component-level certifications are provided by our qualified partner suppliers. Relevant documents can be shared per project.
Products are designed to IEC standards: MCBs to IEC 60898-1 / IEC 60947-2, MCCBs to IEC 60947-2, RCCBs to IEC 61008-1, RCBOs to IEC 61009-1, isolators to IEC 60947-3, and surge protection devices to IEC 61643.
Yes. Selected combiner boxes and components are CE certified to the applicable IEC standards.
We apply quality control across incoming materials, in-process production, and final inspection under our ISO 9001 system. Combiner boxes are correctly pre-wired and electrically checked before dispatch.
Yes. Every order undergoes pre-shipment inspection – verifying wiring, ratings, component installation, and enclosure condition against the order specification – before packing and delivery.
Samples, Orders, Lead Time & Shipping
Yes. Sample orders are available for evaluation and testing before bulk purchase. Standard samples typically ship within 5-7 days.
MOQ depends on whether the item is standard or customized. Standard components and combiner boxes have a low MOQ suitable for distributors; OEM/ODM and fully custom builds have a project-based MOQ. Contact us with your model and quantity for an exact figure.
Standard samples ship in 5-7 days. Bulk orders of standard products and customized/OEM orders depend on quantity and configuration, and we confirm a delivery schedule with each quotation.
Yes. We supply bulk volumes for distribution, EPC projects, and OEM/ODM cooperation, and can align production with project delivery schedules.
Yes. We export worldwide and support common Incoterms such as EXW, FOB, and CIF, with sea and air freight from Chinese ports. We can also work with your nominated freight forwarder.
